Children, as the nation’s future generation, have the right to receive protection from the negative impacts of rapid development, globalization, technological advancement, and social change that may influence their behavior. Children in conflict with the law (CICL) require special attention and handling through approaches oriented toward protection, rehabilitation, and restoration. The Juvenile Criminal Justice System (SPPA) emphasizes the importance of restorative justice through various forms of guidance, assistance, and supervision carried out by Community Counselors (Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan/PK) at the Correctional Center (Bapas). One form of personality guidance for juvenile clients is the Bakat Super Camp (BSC) program organized by Bapas Class II Klaten. This program is a form of social intervention aimed at enhancing self-awareness, social abilities, and behavioral improvement through the Social Group Work approach. The two-day program involves several collaborating institutions, including the Child Protection Agency, Forum Anak Klaten, RDMA Foundation, and Sahabat Kapas. BSC is designed to build motivation, hope, and awareness among juvenile clients to become better individuals who are responsible and capable of participating within their social environment. Through group-based activities, clients are encouraged to explore their potential, increase self-esteem, build trust, and plan for their future. The implementation of BSC demonstrates that personality guidance through group approaches can help juvenile clients improve social adjustment, develop personal and social capacities, and support positive behavioral change.
